Following on from the work that staff started on developing a set of rules for e-safety that can be shared with everyone in the St James’ community (staff, children, families and friends,) Y6 has been working very hard on coming up with some easy to remember rules that use mostly positive rather than negative language. We had a lot of discussion about which were in their opinion, the most important messages and what order they should go in.
These rules are not a definitive list but are a good starting point for your to talk to your children about the importance of e-safety. You can see examples of these rules around school, in the ICT suite and here on this site under the Y6 posters post.
